OMF supports Medicom Group in the Acquisition of Loser & Co. GmbH Vertrieb von Dentalprodukten
OMF provided legal and tax advice to Medicom Group, in its acquisition of all shares in Loser & Co. GmbH Vertrieb von Dentalprodukten.
Medicom Group is one of the world's leading manufacturers and distributors of high-quality products for infection control, single use and prevention for the medical, dental, industrial, veterinary, laboratory and health and beauty markets. Founded in Quebec in 1988, the company markets infection control products under the Medicom, Ritmed, Kolmi, Hopen and Ocean Pacific brands, as well as the recently acquired Hedy brand. Medicom's subsidiaries include Kolmi-Hopen in France, Medicom Asia in Hong Kong, United Medical Enterprise in the U.S., KHM Engineering in Singapore and Medicom HealthPro Limited in the United Kingdom.
Loser & Co GmbH is one of the important distributors of high-quality dental products in Germany.
The Loser product portfolio supplements Medicom's portfolio in several segments. Joachim Siegler, one of the sellers as well as Managing Director of Loser, will lead the entire Medicom Dental business as Managing Director of Medicom B.V.
