OMF advises Finatem on the structuring of the acquisition of Austria based FMW Group
OMF has advised Finatem III on the acquisition of a 40%-stake in the Austrian FMW-Group. The initial shareholders, Hannover Finanz and the management, remain invested in FMW. Finatem will provide financing to the company for further strategic acquisitions.
FMW Group develops and produces turnkey plants and systems for the paper and cellulose processing industry as well as for mineral technology applications and energy generation with reference installations worldwide. In the past five years FMW's annual sales have doubled to more than EUR 75m. with a proportion of exports above 90%. In the development, design and production of turnkey limestone processing plants, FMW together with its specialist kiln subsidiary Cimprogetti is a global market leader.
OMF supported Finatem by developing the tax structure of the transaction.
